The Art of Deconstructing the Illusion of Fear 2/10

Lesson 2 – Understanding the Art of Dying

There are many ways in which death could be explained and understood, but what you are actually afraid of (if you are afraid of death) is the death of who you think you are. When in actuality, who you think you are, you are actually not… (Confused yet? Hear us out!) While this can sometimes be a complex concept to grasp by the mind, just try to relax for a moment into next few sentences without the need to understand anything. Just allow and feel it.

Blessed are those who were given the gift of witnessing death during their human life. I confidently say that, because I had the honor of being present to the experience of physical death several times during this lifetime. Not just receiving the information of someone dying, but actually witnessing another human being taking their very last breath.
And while this experience can be very traumatizing from the perspective of the human mind, at the same time, it’s just a Shift. It’s the disappearance of the known way of experiencing existence Here and the continuation of existing somewhere over There, or nowhere over There… (but this is a completely different topic.)
Death is not to be feared. Death is an integral part of human life. It’s the one thing we all have in common.

Our physical bodies are just the brushes with which Consciousness paints the most unique expressions of The Absolute.
In its complete, indescribable perfection that is the human body, it’s very important to realize that who you truly are, is beyond the physical body. You Are continuous, never-ending, ever-lasting Consciousness-Presence. What you truly are never ends, while the physical body has an expiration time.

You are not the body.
You experience the body.

How can you be that which you can witness and be aware of at the same time?
Even though you can’t really explain how or why, you can still feel a small resonance, truth or a reminder in these words that you are not your physical body.

Death can happen only to the physical body, not to You. Therefore death is nothing to be feared.
There is only one great purpose in feeling the fear of death – as soon as you become aware of that fear, you can use it as a means to realize that that which can die is not who You truly Are.
You are that which is experiencing the body. You are that which is experiencing the human form.

Be gentle with yourself while you are trying to feel the essence of this lesson. Don’t burden yourself with “you have to understand this right now”. There is nothing you need to understand or believe in, just let the information go through you and see what resonates, what stays. Just be gentle with yourself, remain open and see what stays.

We will leave you with this question: If you think that you are your physical body, then who or what is it that is aware of you thinking that you are your physical body?
There is something aware of you thinking that you are the physical body. So who or what is that? Can you feel it being beyond the body? Is it conceptually wider than the body? Can you sense that there is more to Your True Self than you allowed yourself to believe until now?
Explore that!
