Everyone just wants to be heard, seen and appreciated for who they are.

Sometimes the illusion of life can be full of things that preoccupy some portions of our focus, or it can just be a neverending expanding stream of inspiration that will take you in a completely different direction, or perhaps you find yourself in the midst of a series of challenging experiences… During any of these scenarios and without even realizing it, you can unknowingly hurt someone dear to you. Not by what you did to them, but by what you didn’t do.

Sometimes, in the midst of all the busyness of life, we forget to appreciate, hear and see those around us that we care about the most.
This can cause hurt and pain in others. And although their state of mind, their reactions or their emotions are not our responsibilities, we all feel better when we express appreciation to those around us. When we become present to really hear and see them.

So this is a small reminder for you to stop for a moment, close your eyes, take a few deep breaths and think of some of the most important and the most inspiring people in your life.
While focusing on breathing through your heart center, generate in your heart a strong feeling of deep gratitude for each one of them.
Bring into your mind and body the energy of joy of each person that matters to you and open your heart to feel it fully for a few breaths.

If you want to deepen the expansive sensation of gratitude in this exercise, you can write down a few things you appreciate about each person.

After you finish this beautiful exercise, you can remind all these dear people (by sending them a message, calling them or meeting them), that you appreciate them, you are grateful for the gift of their presence in your life and you can even apologize to them for any potential time where they didn’t feel that you acknowledged or saw them for them.
We encourage you to take a screen shot of this image and send it to your dear people. A little, special gift of The Perennial Heart appreciation.

Perennial Appreciation – everlasting, enduring, the one that persists no matter what.

Will you try this out? If you will, let us know what the result was?
